大前门

In 1916 (the 5th year of the Republic), the reconstruction of 大前门 (Daqianmen) was completed, and seizing this opportunity, the British American Tobacco Company established "Daqianmen." The earliest design of "Daqianmen" was called "Qianmen," produced by the British Tobacco Company under British American Tobacco. Since then, "Daqianmen" has been continuously produced by various companies including the British Tobacco Company, Yizhong Tobacco Company, Qidong Tobacco Company, Qidong Tobacco Co., Ltd., and Lao Baduo & Sons Tobacco Co., Ltd. After liberation, the trademark of "Daqianmen" was jointly owned by the tobacco industries of Shanghai, Qingdao, and Tianjin. Besides special periods of the China Tobacco Industry Company and collaborations with various tobacco enterprises across the country, it has also been produced by numerous factories such as Anyang, Changde, Chengdu, Hefei, Shenyang, Yingkou, Yunnan Paper Cigarettes, Zhengzhou, and Chongqing Cigarette Factory, making "Daqianmen" a presence felt nationwide. In 1979, it was rated as a high-quality product by the Ministry of Light Industry; in 1987, it was recognized as a high-quality product in the national tobacco industry by the China National Tobacco Corporation. Today, "Daqianmen" stands as one of the key products of Shanghai Tobacco, embodying the significance of an established brand.

1916年（民国5年），大前门重修竣工，借此良机英美公司创立“大前门”。“大前门”最早期的设计叫“前门”，由英美烟草公司旗下的大英烟公司出品。自此之后，“大前门”先后由大英烟公司、颐中烟草公司、启东烟草公司、启东烟草株式会社、老巴夺父子烟草有限公司连续生产。解放后，“大前门”商标归上海、青岛和天津烟草共同拥有，除中国烟草工业公司特殊时期以及上海同全国各烟草企业联营外，还被各烟厂生产出品。如安阳、常德、成都、合肥、沈阳、营口、云南纸烟、郑州、重庆卷烟厂等等，“大前门”的足迹几乎遍及全国。 1979年被轻工业部评为轻工业优质产品；1987年被中国烟草总公司评为全国烟草行业优质产品。今天，“大前门”是上海烟草具有老品牌效应的重要产品之一。
