
The "大丰收" (Dafengshou) brand is the first low-end national cigarette brand that the National Tobacco Monopoly Administration has prioritized to support in response to the needs of rural consumers and low-income groups. In alignment with the industry trend of major brands and large markets, it ensures the stability and consistency of brand, quality, price, packaging, and flavor. The Economic Operation Department of the National Tobacco Monopoly Administration organized a collaborative effort with the Zhengzhou Tobacco Research Institute of China National Tobacco Corporation and the technical centers of five tobacco factories in Wuhan, Xiamen, Nanjing, Changde, and Fuyang to invest in the research and development of "大丰收" products. Throughout the R&D process, they strictly adhered to the requirements for consistency in formula and style suited for the large market, conducting joint efforts, repeatedly adjusting the formula, soliciting feedback, improving flavor, and optimizing packaging. This led to the creation of the new "大丰收" cigarette, whose outer packaging features a dominant bright red color, symbolizing good fortune, celebration, and a moderately prosperous life. On June 3, 2006, the "大丰收" brand was officially launched at the Wuhan Cigarette Factory.
“大丰收”品牌是国家烟草专卖局为适应农村消费者和低收入群体的需求,首个重点扶持的低档全国性牌号卷烟。为顺应大品牌、大市场行业趋势,保证品牌、质量、价格、包装、吸味保持稳定性、一致性,由国家烟草专卖局经济运行司组织,中国烟草总公司郑州烟草研究院联合武汉、厦门、南京、常德、阜阳等五家烟厂技术中心投入“大丰收”产品研发,在研发过程中,严格按照国家局适应大市场配方和风格一致、质量一致的要求,进行联合攻关,反复调整配方,多次征求意见,改进吸味,优化包装,研制出 “大丰收”卷烟新品,外包装以大红为主色调,寓意吉祥、喜庆、小康。 2006年6月3日,“大丰收”品牌在武汉卷烟厂下线。
