The "猴王" (Hou Wang) brand filter tip cigarettes are crafted from premium tobacco leaves sourced from provinces such as Yunnan, Guizhou, Henan, and Shaanxi. Each leaf is meticulously selected and stemmed by hand, complemented by specially imported flavoring agents. The product line has developed into the "猴王一族" (Hou Wang Yizu) series, featuring four primary packaging styles: frosted, Golden Monkey King, hard flip-top, and full pack. In the first half of 1995, it ranked fourth in a quality supervision sampling conducted by the National Tobacco Monopoly Bureau. It has since been honored with titles such as "1996 National Superior Cigarette" and "1999 National Famous and Excellent Cigarette."
“猴王”牌过滤嘴香烟是以云、贵、豫、陕等省等高档烟叶为原料，人工选叶、去梗，并配有特制进口专用香精。现已形成以“磨砂、金猴王、硬翻、全包”四种包装形式为骨干的“猴王一族”系列产品。在1995年上半年国家烟草专卖局对卷烟市场质量监督抽查中荣居第四名。先后荣获“1996年度全国卷烟优等品”和“1999年度全国名优卷烟”称号。
