On October 30, 2002, four varieties of the "香格里拉" (Xianggelila) series of cigarettes were launched in Kunming, Lijiang, and Shangri-La (formerly known as Zhongdian). The 香格里拉 (Xianggelila) cigarettes feature holographic laser packaging materials and introduced a new anti-counterfeiting technology using the RMB's watermark on the cigarette labels for the first time.
2002年10月30日，四款“香格里拉”系列香烟在昆明、丽江、香格里拉（原中甸）三地上市。香格里拉香烟使用全息激光包装材料，首次在烟标上采用人民币后线防伪技术。
