The earliest English name for “红锡包” (Hóng xī bāo) means "Queen," produced by the British Wills Company. In the early 20th century, after the company merged with the American Tobacco Company, “红锡包” became the flagship product of American Tobacco. Following the outbreak of the May Thirtieth Movement in 1925, Chinese characters began to appear on the cigarette packaging. The Chinese text on the label includes phrases such as “红锡包,” “suitable for all levels,” “twenty sticks,” and “nine grades,” among others.
